41 Pearl Street
A circa 1680s Georgian stone home constructed of locally quarried limestone, 41 Pearl St offers 13 rooms and was the most ambitious architectural restoration in the Hotel Kinsley collection. Original fireplaces framed with hand painted tiles, a grand staircase, and crown molding were preserved as the backdrop for a restful retreat. Little luxuries include custom rift sawn white oak platform beds with grey wool felt upholstered headboards, cantilevered side tables inspired by Gio Ponti and handwoven wool throws by Wallace Sewell. Bathrooms are treated with equal consideration and feature Carrara marble wall tile and flooring, unlacquered brass fittings and Frette towels and robes–for the days when you don’t want to leave your room.
Historical notes: Built in the 1680s, 41 Pearl St was reportedly rebuilt in the 1790s and further renovations were completed in 1878. It was the home of Mary Isabella Forsyth, a member of a prominent Kingston family who was dedicated to helping her community and who published in 1909 “The Beginnings of New York: Kingston the First State Capital.”
Pearl St Luxury King
One of the larger accommodations in the Kinsley profile, our Luxury King rooms range in size from 320ft² to 470ft². These rooms feature lush soaking tubs with rainwater showers and heated bathroom floors. Pearl St Queen Suite
A unique room arrangement in Pearl St, the Queen Suite is 620 square feet and features one queen room and one twin room adjoined by a corridor in which is situated a bathroom with heated floors. The Suite is ideal for families traveling with small children, and these rooms feature lovely views of the Fair St Church. Your stay includes access to the guest lounge, onsite gym, infrared sauna, massage room and additional amenities noted below.

Pearl St Grand King
Our Grand King rooms range in size from 290ft² to 430ft² and they feature Carrara marble rainwater showers. Each of these rooms is unique, but of particular note is room 103 which features original shelving, corner curio cabinets and a working gas fireplace. Your stay includes access to the guest lounge, onsite gym, infrared sauna, massage room and additional amenities noted below. Please note: there are only two Grand King rooms with working gas fireplaces–enter your stay dates to check availability.

Pearl St Grand Queen
Our Grand Queen rooms range in size from 270ft² to 330ft² square feet and feature Carrara marble rainwater showers. Each of these rooms is unique and features details such as original hand painted mantles, unique woodworking and original library shelving.
